Hi! I’m Katie.

My name is Katie Rhoades (they/she). I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and Certified Complex Trauma Professional who graduated from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2024 with an M.A. in Counseling Psychology.

Life is hard, beautiful, messy, and miraculous. I am passionate about helping people heal their deepest wounds, cultivate meaningful relationships, and reconnect with their reasons to live.

In my free time, you can find me writing, reading, catching a sunset, or on a patio with friends.

Relational & Somatic

I believe healing happens through connection, both within ourselves and in our relationships with others and the world around us. I use relational and somatic approaches to counseling— paying attention to thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations to help bring unconscious patterns into awareness. My work considers the whole person, including mind, body, personal values, as well as the cultural and systemic environments that shape one’s life.
